TRAILS -- The Washington Trails Association has scheduled trail work at several popular Spokane-area hiking destinations in the next few weeks, including three trail work parties, May 11-13, at Riverside State Park.

WTA has been focusing effort on the nifty Knothead Trail in Riverside above the Little Spokane River to deal with damage from wildfires two years ago.

No special experience is required to be a volunteer, just a will to dig in.  You'll meet some special people in the process.

If the Riverside State Park dates don't fit your schedule, WTA will be working soon at Liberty Lake and Antoine Peak.
