The Collings Foundation, which owns several rare World War Two aircraft, brought three examples to Spokane this week on its Wings of Freedom tour.  There is a B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator and a P-51C Mustang. To support their activities, the Foundation sells tickets for tours of the planes. Visitors need to visit Tuesday or Wednesday morning to see these three flying examples of WWII technology before they leave. Check out my video from the first day in Spokane.

From the press release: The WINGS OF FREEDOM TOUR will arrive at Spokane International Airport at 12:00 PM on June 29 and will be on display at Landmark at Spokane International Airport until the aircraft departs July 1 after 12:00 PM. Hours of ground tours and display are: 12:00 PM through 5:00 PM on Monday, June 29; 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30; 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1.  The 30-minute flight experiences are normally scheduled before and after the ground tour times above.
