Injured baby still improving at hospital

A 2-month-old baby who suffered what Spokane police initially feared would be fatal injuries continues to improve at a hosptial, family said.

SkyeLynn A. Jamison is to be released next week, a family member said Saturday on a Facebook page created for the girl.

SkyeLynn's father, 18-year-old Tyler L. Jamison, pleaded not guilty today to a charge of first-degree assault. He was arrested last month.
