A reward is being offered for tips that help identify a man who robbed a Spokane convenience store at gunpoint early Saturday.
Surveillance photos released today show the man pointing a gun at a clerk at 7-Eleven, 1425 N. Maple St., about 4:30 a.m.
The robber is described as 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, and in his late 20s or early 30s.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS or submit tips <a href="http://www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org/">online.</a>  Tipsters do not have to leave their name to collect a reward but should lave a code name or number. (Spokane Police Department)

Police are trying to identify a suspect in a Fourth of July assault that left a man beaten and burned at his makeshift camp near High Bridge Park.

Surveillance photos show the victim at the Sunset Grocery with a young man police believe may have attacked him.

Spokane police officers contacted the victim at a hospital about 8 a.m. and learned he had been severely beaten and burned sometime during the night at his camp in a large gravel and grass pasture near Sunset Boulevard and Government Way.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit tips online. Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect a reward but should leave a code name or number. (Spokane Police Department)

Thieves stole a a credit card from a car near Sanders Beach in Coeur d'Alene last week, then used it to rack up $185 in charges at Walgreens.
Surveillance photos from Walgreen released on Thursday show a man and two women, and police are looking for tips on their identities. A photo of their vehicle also is included.
The victim told police he'd left his wallet in his unlocked car in the 900 block of East Young Avenue on July 26. The vehicle was secure between midnight and 4 a.m. That's when the owner got a call from Citi Bank reporting fraudulent activity on his credit card and discovered his car had been prowled.

Police are trying to identify a man who headbutted a WalMart cashier while shoplifting last week.

An image from a surveillance video shows the man at the store on East Broadway Avenue in Spokane Valley.

A cashier told police he approached the man when he saw him walking toward the west exit with a large bulge in his sweatshirt about 12:45 a.m. July 24.

The man tried to exit, but the doors were locked, so he headbutted the cashier and escaped through a fire exit, according to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office. The thief dropped stolen items in the process.

The Sheriff''s Office released the surveillance photo today in hopes someone will recognize the man.

Detectives are looking for help in identifying a man who burglarized a home in north Spokane County earlier this month.
A photo released today from the homeowner's game camera shows a man wearing gloves leaving the backdoor of the home in the 3100 block of East Deer Park-Milan Road.  The homeowners returned from an eight-day vacation June 8 and discovered the break-in.
His accomplice, identified by police as Christopher John Steinbaugh, 32, was arrested last week on a residential burglary charge.
Police are asking for anyone with information on the man's identify to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233 and reference case #12-176653.
Steinbaugh already is charged with property crimes for arrests in March and May, including one that occurred when a sheriff's detective recognized him at a pawn shop. (Crime Check)

Coeur d'Alene police are asking for help identifying thieves who broke into storage units on North Atlas Road last month.

Employees at Coeur d'Alene Place Self Storage, 5850 N. Atlas Road., reported April 28 that several locks had been cut from storage units throughout the complex, police said today.

Survellance video shows three men in hooded sweatshirts and dark clothing walk through the proprety just before midnight. The men walked around until 4:30 a.m. and appear to cut locks with a bolt cutter on several occassions, according to police.

Employees beleive the thieves cut a chain link fence to acess the building. They discovered several RVs that had been damaged and burglarized.

A surveillence image of two of the thieves was released today.

Spokane police today released surveillance photos of two possible suspects in a late-night fight in an alley last month that left two men unconscious.
The assailants were described as a man and a woman. The fight occurred Feb. 25 just after midnight in an alley behind Safeway near 4100 N. Regal St. One of the victims was hospitalized with facial cuts.
Witnesses said the attackers may be near the Special K Tavern at 3817 N. Market St. Officers found two more victims at the bar who didn't call notify authorities about the their attack but were able to provide additional information on suspects.
The male attacker is described as white, 6-feet tall, 160 pounds, bald with short hair and an eyebrow piercing. He wore jeans and a gray t-shirt. The female assailant was described as Native American, 21 to 30 years old, 5-foot-5 and 160 pounds with black should-length hair and facial tattoos. They were last seen walking toward the the Safeway at 3919 N. Market St. The photos released today are from surveillance video at the store before the assault.

Spokane police today released surveillance photos of a robbery last week at a Browne's Addition convenience store in hopes someone will recognize the gunman.
The robbery was reported about 11:49 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Sunset Grocery, 1908 W. Sunset Blvd.
The gunman is described as 20 to 22 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 and 150 to 160 pounds. He wore a black knit ski mask, dark hooded sweatshirt, black coat, dark loose pants and black and white athletic shoes. The gun is described as a black semi-automatic pistol.

Police are asking for help identifying a man accused of holding a knife to a Safeway employee's throat.
The employee approached the man about stealing items from the store at 2507 W. Wellesley Ave. when he was attacked Jan. 4 about 4:30 p.m., police said today.
The thief threatened to slit the employee's throat and fled on a bicycle with a pocket knife in his hand. The victim described the man as in his late 30s and wearing a dark beanie, button-up flannel shirt and grayish tan Carhartt jacket.
