The Slice

How much weight did Spokane gain during windstorm?

That's Jeff Nadeau's question.

"The morning brought the evidence to light with a thick coating of dust over every surface. So I've been wondering, how much weight did Spokane gain during the dust storm? How much of what was once somewhere else is now here?"

But he sees a potential upside.

"I bet our gardens will be fecund next year from the addition of Columbia Plateau soil. Or perhaps more radioactive."
