This is my friend Dave Frank. He's a great guy.
Dave is a scientist who works for the federal government.
I mostly see him during bus-riding season (winter). We both take the No. 43. But we have threatened to go for a bike ride one day.
Dave has been reading my column for a while. In 1996, I used a "cute kid" story about something his 7-year-old son had said.
That boy, Tyler, is now a United States Marine.
