Did you see the stars?
If you were up before sunrise this morning, you might have noticed.
The heavens were ablaze with stars. Shining with a brightness we don't see when the lights of the city are on, they seemed bigger and closer.
For a moment, it was a relief to look up and away from the devastation around us.
