The Slice

Today’s bad babysitter

Lori Martinelli shared this story.

"When going to pay her after returning home, I happened to notice she was wearing my ring. My husband had just had it designed for me and it was one of a kind. When asking her why she was wearing it, she claimed it was hers and she had one just like it. After contacting her mother and asking her to search her bedroom, I was rewarded with several pieces of my jewelry that had mysteriously gone missing. Needless to say we didn't hire her again."

The mother must have been well acquainted with the girl's lying ways. Otherwise, I'm sure she would have gotten all huffy and gone into "How dare you accuse my daughter" mode.
