The Slice

Rose seeds by any other name

Cindy Matthews of Post Falls shared this.

"As a child our family vacations were usually camping trips. My dad was great about stopping along the way for hikes and exploration. On one hike my mother was very impressed with the wild roses. Dad was ahead of us checking the path. Mom gathered the rose 'seeds' then proudly showed them to my dad who informed her they were deer dung. It's now a family legend."
