The Slice

Can this be hereditary?

The salesman said they actually sell quite well.
The salesman said they actually sell quite well.

My late father used to claim that something always happened when he finally found a style of shoes he liked.

"They stop making them."

He made this assertion repeatedly.

So now it has happened to me. The company that makes the kind of shoes I like is discontinuing that style. At least that's what the salesman told me this morning as he urged me to purchase more than one pair.

Wish my dad were around to hear that. It would have confirmed his whole world-view.
