The Slice

“Keep Spokane Kind of Gross”

Gary Cannon was walking around downtown during Pig Out when saw a sticker featuring that slogan. He wondered if I knew the origin story.

I don't. But if I were to start a search for the answer, I'd begin at Boo Radley's.

I assume it is a variation on "Keep Portland Weird."

In any event, Gary likes it.

"It beats 'Near Nature Near Perfect' and frankly I've been doing my part since 1953."
