The Slice

This refrigerator is older than I am

The Slice had asked about longtime possessions and Coeur d'Alene's Pam Ness sent this photo.

It shows her daughter sitting on a refrigerator belonging to the child's grandparents.

"My parents purchased this refrigerator in 1954. All of the grandchildren quickly realized they could open the door and sit down on the bottom of the refrigerator. They would have free range and access to all of the refrigerator's contents. This Philco refrigerator still runs perfectly today and, most importantly, it says 'Automatic' on the outside."
