The Slice

What are they doing back there?

So we're building a short but tall fence between the house and the driveway.

It's not far from the sidewalk. So, naturally, those passing by will see the new view-blocking fence and wonder.

What are they doing back there?

Well, one of the following is the correct answer.

A) The beginnings of the Turner Family Armed Compound."Keep Out: This Means YOU!" B) Remember what they were doing up on top of Devil's Tower in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"? Something like that. C) Oil and gas exploration. (I was born in Texas. It's in my blood.) D) Renaissance Faire. E) Moonshine still. F) Some sort of pod people nursery. G) Nude volleyball. H) Retro Bomb Shelter. I) Some old guy back there sitting in a lawn chair and listening to the Who's "My Generation" over and over. J) People sleeping with Vaseline on their faces. K) Nothing out of the ordinary.
