Unlike the unfortunate rodent in Sunday's Slice column, this animal's story has a happy ending.

"This is what my son found in his engine when he heard chittering," wrote Mary Fisher, referring to the photo. "Apparently, in his fright, he shat everywhere. (The marmot, not my son.) My son left the little guy to come out on his own and drove a different car to work.

"We think the dog chased him in there. Poor little guy."
