The blog is straying a little bit today, but I'd like to share the newsletter (PDF) from One World Spokane with you. The restaurant is located at 1804 East Sprague in the heart of the International District. It features organic, local food and right now also cookbooks for $12.50 a piece - proceeds go to the restaurant. One World features a unique concept: you let them know how much food you'd like and where there is a recommended price, you pay what you can. You can also volunteer with the restaurant and earn your way to a meal. If you haven't stopped by yet, give it a try.
