WALeg Day 17: Felony campaign offenses? Split Washington in two?

OLYMPIA -- Concealing the source of a campaign contribution would be a felony under a bill up for a hearing in the House Public Safety Committee.
It's among dozens of bills on subjects ranging from mental health reform to adding $1 to price of tickets in The Gorge that will be before legislative committees today.

Meanwhile, a group of Eastern Washington legislators have introduced an old favorite, a bill to split the state in half. HB 1818 would set up a 10-member task force to figure out "the legal and political processes" of creating two states.
