Talk about elections and politics tonight

I'll be on The Spokesman-Review and KHQ-TV Facebook pages tonight from 8 to about 8:30 as the results of the state primary start coming in, talking about results, elections and politics.

This is the latest experiment by the newspaper and television station to use Facebook Live as an adjunct to our standard political coverage. We tried it several times during the Republican and Democratic National Conventions.

Results were mixed. Sometimes the comments and questions from people who joined the session flowed so fast they were hard to keep up with. Other times it was pretty slow, so I had to fill time by talking. I prefer the former, so go on line to the Facebook page for either The Spokesman-Review or KHQ-TV and join in.

As a bonus, you might get the early results there faster than anywhere else, unless you intend to keep refreshing all the websites, because I kind of do that for a living.
