OLYMPIA -- Wednesday is Inauguration Day.

Elected statewide officials will be sworn in. Gov. Jay Inslee will give an inauguration address at noon to a joint session of the Legislature with plenty of visiting dignitaries in attendance. There will be receptions in the afternoon, a pickup game of Horse on the basketball court near the governor's mansion, and an Inaugural Ball in the evening.

The Legislature will also have hearings, but they'll fit them around the festivities, so some committees will meet at 8 a.m., others start in the afternoon. Here's the hearing schedule, as of Tuesday afternoon:
