The Newman Lake Fire District commissioners have announced a special meeting to be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Station 1, 10236 N. West Newman Lake Drive. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss financing options for the new Station 1 the district is trying to build. There will also be a discussion on setting a date for a public meeting to be held later to discuss the building project.
