Spokane Valley begins week with executive sessions
The Spokane Valley City Council is holding an executive session today beginning at 6 p.m., followed by one Tuesday at 4 p.m. prior to the city council meeting which is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Executive sessions are not open to the public and the notice sent out via the city's email notification system does not say action will be taken.
City Manager Mike Jackson's contract expires on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Jackson has hired an attorney but - like the city council - has been mum since his termination a month ago.
