Expect some road closures and rerouted traffic as Spokane Valley hurries to get the last construction there done.

First Avenue between Commercial and Howe - reduced to one lane for paving starting today and ending at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, if the weather holds up.

Commercial between Sprague Avenue and First Avenue  - closed around the clock for paving starting today and ending on through Thursday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. depending on the weather.

Eastbound Sprague Avenue between Commercial and Howe Roads  - reduced to one lane on Oct. 25 from 7-11 a.m. The sidewalk on the south side of Sprague will also be closed from Oct. 25 -28 with signs rerouting pedestrian traffic.

Expect congestion and delays. Those whose destinations are outside the project areas may wish to use alternative routes.
