Spokane has rallied a little lately, moving ahead of Seattle for third place in the U.S. Division of the Western Hockey League with its victory at Portland last night.
The key for the Chiefs is improved power-play production, scoring three times in the 5-2 win over Portland.
The Chiefs play at Kelowna tonight (7 p.m.; 790-AM).
