I had hoped to have some news on Eastern's basketball signees today, but was informed that first-year coach Kirk Earlywine won't have any announcements on that front until later this week or next.

I'm not sure what to read into that, but stay tuned. I'm sure the NCAA's on-going investigation into the program produces some major uncertainties about the number of scholarships that will be available.
