Baseball season begins in winter
I'm one of a dying breed who believes that every time has a season and that high school basketball and wrestling are winter sports. But there's still a weekend of football to play and basketball has lapped back into November.

But here's the deal. Given the inanities and downright nastiness on recent football and basketball sports I'm setting ground rules.
