Revised thoughts on GSL boys

After watching the first few games of the Greater Spokane League boys basketball season, I'm tending to re-think my pre-season predictions. Nothing has made me change my mind about Gonzaga Prep as No. 1 and despite last night's score, I'm not bailing on Shadle Park.

But I tend to think (as I did before I goobered up the predictions) that Ferris might be the third best team (after picking them fourth) and believe Mt. Spokane will finish closer to last year's fourth place than the seventh or so that I put them. That said: When you see that five teams are either 3-1 or 2-2 and Rogers is 2-3, it's tough to hazard a guess. North Central (3-1) has won twice by two points once by one, but still is enjoying its basketball success of the past four years. Rogers has played people tough and I still like Central Valley's mix despite its 1-3 record. My question marks are Lewis and Clark, Mead (both 2-2) and University (1-3) who have already proven they they're capable of beating anybody, but at the same time have been vulnerable.

If you can negotiate the new website weigh in, because the old one will soon be passe.
