WCC eyeing Thursday/Saturday hoop schedule

I just filed an article on a likely change to the WCC basketball schedule. The WCC appears ready to adopt a Thursday/Saturday conference schedule instead of the current Saturday/Monday format.

The change wouldn't diminish the WCC's TV arrangement with ESPN. Games would be televised on Thursday nights (and an occasional Saturday)instead of the WCC being the nightcap on Big Monday.
