COUGARS

A quick post this morning, mostly because there's very little going on. After all, Sunday is at least somewhat of a day of rest for most everyone, including those who cover college athletics. Read on.
••••••••••

• About all we have is our story concerning the basketball recruits. This should end the questions about that except ... Will the Cougars sign anyone else (probably not, but because the coaches can't talk specifics, there's no way to be 100 percent sure; the final signing date doesn't end until May 20) and is David Chadwick still a possibility (not really but, again, now that Chadwick has been let of his letter-of-intent and is once again a recruitable athlete, a coach's comment about him is an NCAA violation; by the way, because Chadwick has already signed his limit of one LOI, the only way to be sure he's going to a school is when he enrolls there). ... What's else do we have? There's this Buster Sports' rating of the best Pac-10 defensive tackles by Nick Daschel, with WSU's Toby Turpin on the list. ... That's about it.

• Thanks for coming by. We'll be back if events warrant this afternoon. Until then …
