Portland rolls past Idaho
How quickly fortunes can change. Two-plus weeks after dismantling Portland, Idaho visited the Pilots tonight and got thrashed, 82-52. It was a 50-point turnaround from the earlier meeting, when UI notched a 68-48 win.
The cold-shooting Vandals mustered just two 3-pointers and had 19 turnovers. Mac Hopson scored 15 points and was the only Vandal in double digits. Meanwhile, UP guard Jared Stohl knocked down 10 of 15 3-pointers en route to a game-high 30 points. You can see the boxscore here.
The Vandals' weaknesses keep popping up in grand fashion -- turnovers, inconsistent offense and allowing an opposing guard/wing to put up a huge point total.
