Around the Pac-10 on signing day

COUGARS

A surprisingly quick post for this morning, in that there isn't all that much to link. For what we do have, read on.
••••••••••

• We have a few stories and notes for you, including our story concerning the Cougars' basketball team at the Pac-10 season's halfway point. Other than Jon Milner's grades for each of the coaches, this Tucson Citizen notebook and Chris Dufresne's examination of the race at the halfway point, there is little in the way of basketball items. For this week's Bay Area opponents, there's this notebook from Jake Curtis of the Chronicle and this one from the Mercury News.

• Though it is signing day, there's precious little, though the Times has this Bob Condotta story on UW's recruiting class and Molly Yanity has the same thing in the P-I.

• We'll do what we can today, but it is also a basketball travel day for us. We'll update you with what we know when we know it, but if you want to track the faxes as they come in, you need to head to WSU's football blog, where the Sports Information Office will release the official names first.

•••

• That's it for this morning. Check back with us in the afternoon when we'll post our story on Paul Wulff's assessment and reaction to the recruiting class. Till then …
