Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s pre-game notes

A couple of notes as McKeon Pavilion begins filling up for the 8 p.m. tipoff. Gonzaga is breaking out new black uniforms. The shorts are black with a thick blue stripe on the side. The players are still wearing their shooting shirts, so I haven't seen the tops.

The lighting inside McKeon is much different than a year ago. Gone are the bank of lights that were pretty much in the line of sight for players attempting 3-pointers in front of the team benches. The lights are now centered over the court and it's much brighter.

UPDATE: San Francisco, which entertains Gonzaga on Saturday, has suspended four players until further notice, according to a school release. The four are senior center James Morgan, senior guard Manny Quezada, junior center Hyman Taylor and freshman guard Chioke Walker. They were suspended for not complying with his instructions during practice.

Back at half with an update.
