Krause honored, WCC seeding scenarios

Gonzaga director of basketball operations Jerry Krause caught an early flight Friday morning to be on hand for Hall of Fame induction ceremonies at Northern Colorado on Friday night. Krause (pictured on the right with GU's staff from several years ago -- that's USD coach Bill Grier on the left) was an assistant coach on the 1965-66 team that will be inducted. More here.

There are a 16 seeding scenarios depending on Saturday's outcomes. Gonzaga is locked in at No. 1 and it appears Pepperdine will be No. 6. Saint Mary's and Portland are battling for Nos. 2 and 3. San Diego and Santa Clara are trying to settle Nos. 4 and 5. Here's a link to USD's release, which has the scenarios listed on page 5 (the teams in CAPS at the top of each scenario designate Saturday's winners).
