Gonzaga moves to 3-0 in WCC

Austin Daye scored a career-high 25 points as Gonzaga thumped San Francisco 85-51 on Saturday at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Gonzaga, which led 43-29 at halftime, cruised to its third straight WCC victory. The Bulldogs (12-4, 3-0) have won by 17, 42 and 35 points in three conference games.

Daye made 10 of 14 field-goal attempts (3 of 5 on 3-pointers) and also grabbed nine rebounds. Micah Downs hit 3 of 5 3-pointers and scored 15 points. Matt Bouldin added 12 points for the Bulldogs, who overcome a sluggish start to shoot 51.6 percent from the field. Ten Bulldogs scored.

USF's Dior Lowhorn had a team-high 15 points, but the Dons made just 32.1 percent of their shots.
