Eastern Washington University's men's basketball coach Kirk Earlywine announced the addition of five new recruits to his roster on Tuesday.  The announcement came as a huge surprise, considering the Eagles signed four players to letters of intent earlier this year.

As is turns out only one of those original signees were able to make the academic cut, leaving Earlywine with several vacancies to fill.  You can read the story on the new recruits that ran in Wednesday morning's S-R here, and you can find the press released issued by EWU --  which includes some additional statistical information -- here.
