GU-UW hoops proposal?

Washington has proposed a three-year series with Gonzaga with all three games to be played at KeyArena in Seattle, according to a Seattle Times blog.

According to the post, the teams would split ticket allotments and revenue. The series would run from 2011-2013.

Gonzaga dominated the series, winning eight of 10 games, before it ended in 2007.

My first guess -- not likely. GU already plays an annual game in Seattle. If the schools really want to renew the rivalry, why not four years (or six or eight) with games alternating between the MAC and Bank of America.
I have a call into GU A.D. Mike Roth to see how UW's proposal is being received.
