Cowen back on ice
There is some good news for Spokane Chiefs fans but they'll have to be patient - star defenseman Jared Cowen is back on the ice. Of course Cowan, the 18-year old defenseman, is in Ottawa, as the Senators keep tab on their first-round draft pick, ninth overall, as he continues to recover from major knee surgery. Cowen is trying to be patient, he told The Ottawa Citizen, but it's tough. The newspaper has a Wayne Cuddington picture to accompany the story.
