Idaho comes up with ‘signature’ win
It looked like disaster would strike late in the fourth quarter. Yet the Idaho Vandals held off pesky Northern Illinois for a 34-31 win in Dekalb, Ill. DeMaundray Wooldridge was huge in the fourth quarter, helping the Vandals chew up the last few minutes of the clock and avoid the embarrassment of blowing a 18-point lead. Afterward, Idaho A.D. Rob Spear called it a signature victory for the long-struggling program.
