Talk about strange. It's actually colder here in San Jose than it is in Seattle (yes, I checked). As I write this, it is 41 degrees outside. According to my phone – and really, when is your phone ever wrong? – it is 45 in Seattle. Of course, it's only 35 in Pullman, but that wouldn't make my point would it? What's the point, you ask? Good question. Guess I don't have one, other than to say no shorts today and we have links for you. Read on.

The Huskies get another shot to knock that away-from-home monkey off their back tonight, and it would be a great time for them to do it. Only the top spot in the conference is at stake. If UW is to win, Quincy Pondexter will have a big role in it, as he has for the past year. ... In the desert, OSU believes it has a good shot at pulling an upset in Tempe, especially if the Sun Devils continue to struggle with their defense. ... Ask coaches on the West Coast about respected assistants, and Mike Dunlap's name always comes up. After turning down a chance to be the interim head coach at Arizona, he helped Russ Pennell last year. Now he's at Oregon, helping the Ducks by introducing a zone defense. ...
