WSU is blown out by UCLA, 71-51

Beasley Coliseum began clearing out with more than 10 minutes left Thursday, not that it was all that full to begin with. But with WSU trailing by about 20 most of the second half, even many of the diehard Cougar supporters were unable to stomach the wipeout. The number of UCLA dunks might have been greater than the number of WSU baskets. That's how poor the Cougar defense was. For one of the few times this season, there was a lack of effort. And that was suprising. We'll be back in about two hours with our story.
