Bulldogs roll

The Gonzaga women had no problems on Thursday night with Santa Clara, other than missing a few layups. Heather Bowman is five points shy of the school scoring record. I don't know if it says more about Gonzaga or the other West Coast Conference teams when a lead can be 30 before the league's all-time leading scorer gets to double figures and a dozen-points-a-game scorer (Katelan Redmon) can sit out with a minor injury. We'll slip over the San Francisco game to watch Bowman add another record to her growing list. Tip-off is 2 p.m. Saturday.

Tonight it's Washington at Washington State, FSN at 5 p.m. The only other news comes out of Tennessee, where Spokane native Angie Bjorklund broke out of her shooting slump in a big way.
