Zags fall in overtime

Gonzaga has been in seven close to semi-close WCC games. After winning the first six, the Bulldogs dropped the seventh, a 81-77 overtime decision to USF on Saturday night at War Memorial Gym.

Dior Lowhorn, whose 3-pointer forced overtime, hit two more 3s in the extra session and Angelo Caloiaro added another trey. Lowhorn's second 3 put the Dons in front 73-71 and Caloairo's 3 made it 76-72.

Elias Harris led Gonzaga with 21 points and Matt Bouldin added 15, six in overtime. GU made just 4 of 8 free throws in overtime. Lowhorn's 22 points paced USF.
