Ed Ta'amu has made Spokane his home since arriving in 2006, even when he played for Kansas City in 2007-08. The big reasons why: girlfriend Jessica and son Noa. Click here for more on Ta'amu.

Meanwhile, there won't be a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown this weekend. No. 3 Milwaukee lost to a patchwork Chicago Rush outfit. Second-ranked Spokane, which visits Milwaukee on Saturday, is expected to take over the No. 1 ranking after top-ranked Jacksonville's loss to Orlando.
