Vandals turn back Eagles 70-60
Eastern Washington got a school-record eight 3-pointers and a career-high 28 points from sophomore guard Kevin Winford Saturday afternoon at Reese Court, but it wasn't enough to keep the Eagles from suffering a 70-60 non-conference men's basketball loss to Idaho.
The Vandals, were paced offensively by Deremy Geiger's 24 points. UI held Eastern scoreless over the last 5:08 of the game.
