More on Spangler

OK, I see the rest of my post on Ryan Spangler didn't make it below, so here's a link that should provide the entire article on the 6-foot-8 forward committing to Gonzaga. Click here. I'll update if I'm able to connect with Spangler later today.

There's a thorough scouting report on Spangler on ESPN.com's college basketball recruiting site that I believe requires an insider's account. Spangler is described as a hard-working, glue-type player that knows how to compete and win. He's not the flashiest player, but he understands the game and projects as a solid power forward.

Also, here are those updates that got zapped from the previous post: I've received a couple of e-mails regarding Gonzaga Prep's Chris Sarbaugh's status. To clarify, he will receive a tuition waiver because his late father was a professor at Gonzaga. And 6-foot-7 German wing Mathis Monninghoff officially was cleared by the NCAA eligibility center late last week. He's an athletic, bouncy wing in the mold of ex-Zag Micah Downs.
