I talked with Coach Beau Baldwin and several of his players -- including University of Washington transfer running back Demitrius Bronson -- on Tuesday afternoon, just before Eastern Washington went through its first spring practice in full pads.

Bronson was eager to start contact work in an effort to become the Eagles' starting running back. But from Baldwin and quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell had to say, the stocky 5-foot-10, 235-pounder from Kent has already raised a few eyebrows.
