This week in preps

Well, we've turned the corner. I can officially call this the winter sports season.

Greater Spokane League boys and girls open league play Tuesday. We ran our season previews last week.

Our wrestling preview package will be published Thursday. GSL teams open league duals on Wednesday. The first big tournament is Saturday at the annual Inland Empire Classic at Central Valley with 21 teams including Oregon power Hermiston.

QUESTION: What do you see transpiring in the basketball court in any of our area leauges - Washington or Idaho? What are the storylines this season?
