Gonzaga and Memphis issued a joint press release at half of Saturday's game stating that the remaining two games in the series have been called off. GU was scheduled to return to Memphis next year with the Tigers visiting Spokane the following season.

With the addition of BYU to the WCC next season, GU will have two more marquee games, one of the reasons the Zags don't feel the need to continue a non-conference series with Memphis.
