Presley breaks record, prep roundups

Gonzaga Prep's Tia Presley (pictured above) broke the Greater Spokane League girls basketball scoring record set by University's Angie Bjorklund. Read about it here and here.

The Ferris boys wrapped up the GSL championship, winning for a 17th straight time.

The Lewiston girls captured the 5A Region I championship in thrilling style behind a last-second shot by Tanis Fuller to knock off Lake City 52-50.

And the East Valley boys eliminated Cheney in a district opener.
