This game was back and forth for much of the night. After a 13-0 Boise State put it up 61-53, the Vandals engineered a 9-0 flurry of their own to regain the lead inside the final 2 minutes. But the Broncos converted two free throws and Idaho had another turnover before BSU pulled away.

The loss means Idaho (14-11, 7-6) has the same record as Boise State (14-11, 7-6). But since the Broncos have won both head-to-head meetings, Idaho slips below BSU in the conference standings.

The Vandals were led by 19 points from Jeff Ledbetter, who hit six 3-pointers. Landon Tatum had 13 points while Kyle Barone -- who's come up big in several key wins -- had just four points. Idaho shot 60% or better from the field for much of the game before cooling of. It went six minutes without a field goal before its 9-0 run.
