It's game day once again and I'm sure the Cougar flag is flying in Alabama, Louisiana or some other southern state where they are holding this week's "Game Of The Century!" But we're not sure. The TV is off just yet so we can concentrate on bringing you the best of the links. Read on.

• Washington State: By the way, we shared some basketball injury news with you yesterday, but later that evening, when we were at a junior college football game and unable to access the blog, we were told point guard Reggie Moore may play tonight. We thought we would pass that along to set the record straight. That, and this preview by freelancer Howie Stalwick, is about all the basketball news we'll share today. Yes, I know hoops is getting started around the conference, but today's a football day. ... We had our advance of today's game against California – I figured it out last night. For the sixth weekend in the last eight, I was sleeping in a different hotel; if it wears on me, wonder how the players feel about it? – in the S-R this morning, along with four keys. ... As far as I know, the game will be televised by Root in the state of Washington, thanks to a waiver WSU was able to secure. But it will not be televised in Oregon or Idaho. That is all I know.
