Preps this week

This seems to be a popular way to start the week judging by most comments by folks here. I'll do other blogging and tweeting, of course, but this is a good way to jump start our conversations about what is going to happen and what has happened.

As in, what the heck did Gonzaga Prep football do last Friday? I mean, I'm not surprised the Bullpups won. They're getting healthy again. But now they've jumbled up things and there could be some ties and possible mini playoffs after the regular season concludes. Albi Stadium has been reserved for the Monday following the final week of play.

A rather lackluster performance by area volleyball teams at the Crossover Classic. Mt. Spokane surprised, finishing fourth despite missing three starters. Post Falls fared well, but Mead finishing tied for seventh was interesting.

I wonder if volleyball, in general, is down in Washington?

Anyway, chat away.
